Fremantle Festival
Thursday 4 – Sunday 14th November 2010

The Festival Team is cooking up a feast

Electric light was brought to the port city in 1905 and a festival held to celebrate the event. From that time the Fremantle Festival has built on the tradition of celebrating all the things that make Fremantle the unique and inclusive melting pot has become today.

Fresh news

To hedge our bets against any unexpected rain the 2010 Children’s Fiesta has moved dates and is now a part of the Fremantle Festival. Join us at Samson Park on Sunday November 7 for this ever-popular “biodiversity” themed event.

We are very pleased to announce the official 2010 Fremantle Festival artist is Ian de Souza. Congratulations Ian, we are very much looking forward to the revealing of the Fremantle Festival poster image.

We have a fabulous opportunity for visual artists to contribute to Drawn Together. If you specialise in drawing the human form and would like to be part of a seminal and collaborative exhibition at The Moores Building, contact Ian de Souza at idesouza@iinet.net.au. To register for selection, please attach your CV and two examples of relevant work.

What’s cooking?
