Fremantle Village Art Market back bigger and better for 2008-09

BACK again for 2008-09 is the hugely popular Fremantle Village Art Market, bigger and better than ever before.

Now in its fifth year, the eclectic and effervescent mix of stallholders, entertainers, workshops
and crafts in Kings Square operates 10am-5pm Thursdays.

This year’s season kicks off on Thursday 9 October so come and experience the exuberance of LC Salsa, the most exciting sound produced by genuine Latin American musicians and the best Salseros, as they move around the Markets adding spice and vitality.

Market day highlights Fremantle’s diverse cultural kaleidoscope, showing exactly why the port
city is such a vibrant place to be. There’s plenty of space for more stalls, to add to the wonderful array we have already, for people who make or design their own products.

As always, the market gives local artists a supportive, fun prosperous day under the fig trees and opportunities for the community to shop locally and meet friends in the heart of Fremantle.

There’s such a great atmosphere in Kings Square when the market is on and it has something for everyone ~ ready to keep people entertained in all sorts of ways.

All the latest information about what’s coming up on market days and how to get involved can
be accessed at the websites www.fremantlefestivals.com and www.villageartmarket.com

The Fremantle Village Art Market will run every Thursday until the end of April, 2008.
